I'm Joyce, and I already have my forever home.
But I have greyhound friends still looking for homes
See my friendsJoyce is a four-year-old black Greyhound who has recently retired from Greyhound racing. Joyce is a boy! His racing name was Tyrur Joyce. We have checked and apparently, Joyce can be used as a male name, it’s not been used for males in more recent times, but it can be used as a male name and Joyce appears happy with it.
Unfortunately for Joyce, he could quite easily be mistaken for a female, he is a smaller male and looks sweet and gentle.
Joyce adores human company and seeks people out, he is happiest when he’s with people. It’s unusual to find a Greyhound raised in a racing kennel that isn’t completely happy with their lot, but It’s very apparently that Joyce firmly believes his destiny is somewhere else with a much-loved human beside him.
Joyce is a kind, honest dog, he a very loving and happy boy. Joyce sort of wears his feelings on his face, when he’s enjoying your company and is happy you automatically start to interact back with him, smiling and waving and then have to check nobody saw you!
Joyce is not cat safe, he can live as an only dog or alongside other dogs. We know he doesn’t like being locked in a kennel, so to be left alone for long periods would be no different, he would prefer someone around for much of the day or someone who would take him out with them. Joyce loves people and would be a fabulous companion, nobody would ever feel lonely or sad with Joyce around.
