Joe is a gorgeous five year old male Greyhound who has retired from Greyhound racing. Joe is a very handsome Greyhound, but you can be forgiven when you first see him for thinking he has three scars across his nose, closer inspection reveals that they are actually three horizontal little lines of white hair !

Joe is currently living in a Hector’s foster home alongside a rather bossy female resident Lurcher who Joe tolerates with good humour, they have become firm friends. Joe has settled well in his foster home, he very quickly house trained and picked up the household routine.

Joe is like Hector’s very own Linus from Peanuts with his security blanket. Joe absolutely loves blankets ! He loves to carry them around and they often make a journey from the living room to the kitchen then outside, around the garden and back again. Joe’s foster mum says he always moves his blankets during the night and sometimes she finds his whole bed has been moved to a new position by the morning.

Joe adores cuddly toys and also spends much of his day collecting and carrying them around the house and garden, to have a toy box of his own filled with cuddly toys would make all his dreams come true.

Joe is a good natured, friendly and a very affectionate dog, he is also great company to have around. Joe can live as an only dog or alongside another Greyhound, he walks well on a lead, but he is not cat or small furries safe, for this reason we are looking for a more experienced Greyhound owner to help him continue his transition into adjusting to life outside a racing kennel.

If you can offer this gorgeous boy a forever home please contact us.
