I'm Ginger, and I already have my forever home.
But I have greyhound friends still looking for homes
See my friendsGinger is a beautiful red/fawn colour, he is a four year old ex racing Irish Greyhound boy. Ginger was absolutely thrilled to arrive at Hector’s kennels, even after his long journey from Ireland, he embraced his new surroundings with exuberance and joy.
Ginger appears much younger than his four years of age, both in his character and his looks. He is an enthusiastic fun loving boy who will still be positively receptive to change and training.
Ginger isn’t cat safe but can live alongside any other breed of dog, or he would be equally happy living as an only dog.
Ginger would enjoy a more active life style than your average retired ex racing Greyhound, he would also love to have someone to play with. Ginger’s forever people will need to be robust enough to cope with his exuberant love of life. This means that unfortunately he isn’t suited to living with little people who may get knocked down in his quest to explore the world and have some fun! This is a shame as he actually adores children. A robust game of football with suitably robust older teenagers would suit Ginger perfectly, although he would be happy spending time doing what ever his new owners like to do just as long as he is able to join them.
This gorgeous boy is more than ready to explore the world outside of Greyhound racing, something we strongly suspect he wasn’t really suited to. Ginger is a happy, fun loving affectionate boy who will become a really fabulous pet with much love and loyalty to reward his forever people.
