I'm Danny, and I already have my forever home.
But I have greyhound friends still looking for homesSee my friends
Danny is just two years old and retired from Greyhound racing due to an injury when he broke his hock (ankle) Danny underwent specialist Orthopaedic surgery to repair this and it is now completely healed.
Danny is very handsome and is a sweet natured boy, which really shone through during the treatment he received for his injury which was very painful at times, however he accepted his treatment the same way he appears to accept everything in life - with a big grin and a wagging tail! This big, gorgeous boy has a huge, happy personality which is infectious, he makes everyone he meets feel happy.
Danny has lived in foster care alongside other Greyhounds, he is is housetrained, and sociable with all size and breeds of other dogs. Danny even enjoyed a caravan holiday with his foster family on which he behaved perfectly. There is nothing Danny likes more than settling down after a walk to enjoy a cuddle and a nice cup of tea!
Danny being a young Greyhound needs firm boundaries, his happy go lucky nature will always lead him to try and take just that little bit more and he will need reminding occasionally that he is not in charge, this Danny will accept with his usual sunny disposition. Danny would enjoy the company of older children and would respect an experienced Greyhound owner who knows all the tricks of the Greyhound trade with which Danny is starting to experiment with.
